Awana yeah

On Saturday march 14 i was asleep in my moms car as we headed to the Awana high school regional games. This is my 6 or 7th year competing in it with my church. As i walked in through the front door with my mom hours before the games started i looked around seeing the familiar blue carpet and 3 water fountains. I walked over to get a drink of cool water then caught up to my mom as she was buying a ticket to get in. Once i got back to my mother as she was buying tickets the man selling tickets thought i was in college because of my rugged facial hair and SDSU football shirt, which came from my brother who went their. I chuckled as i told him i was in the games and then he laughed then let let us in.

After that i waited in the blue hard plastic bleachers until my coach got to the gym. Then they gave me my yellow awana shirt with the words First Baptist church. I then started to complain to one of the coaches because our team was known near and wide as Tri-city because we are an amazing group of people. After that everyone started showing up from our and other churches and the once partly empty gym was now bustling with spectators and other teams.

Once everyone was there a guest speaker gave a short partly dull sermon and then the exciting games started. The games i played were basketball relay, marathon relay, and tug. The basketball relay went pretty well our coaches said the basketball was flying through the air on the chest passes and sped across the floor on the bounce passes and we won the event by a second. Then on marathon relay my job was to run around the circle two times as fast as possible and i did that so well that i was almost a blur to cameras. Also the people running three and four laps caught up and lapped the other two teams. The tug event was where me and my best friend got to show our true strength. Me, him, and our other friend David won our event in less then twenty seconds which is a feat considering the other six people weighed over 700 pounds. After our last event we had to wait in suspense as the scores of the three finalist were said and as they said the other two teams as first and second we cheered our hearts out because we were first. Then we stood in front of the colorful board and took our victory poses as we got pictures taken of us. After that We helped take all of the strong colored tape off the floor and socialized as we got ready to leave. As i was leaving i noticed that the snack bar was selling things for half price so i decided to get some money from my mom to buy a huge handful of Redvines which numbered up to 36. Then i walked up the sloping hill to my moms car opened the door and layed down in the front and went to sleep.

karate bike school zombie

well an eventful day but i made it. I had gone to sleep at 2 am and woke up 6 hours later and i usually get about 9 hours of sleep but this morning i was headed to karate so i had to get ready and i guess the clocks in my house are all a lil bit fast because i got their at what i thought was 8:50 and the dojo clock was at 8:40 so i just stretched and had a good workout which left me pretty sore. After that though when i got home i immediately started the last of my homework and did that from about 10:30-12:10 and then called my dad for a ride to school cus i have a meeting i have to be at by 1:00 and he said he was too far away to give me a ride so i panicked and started thinking. Then i quickly changed into my everyday cloths and got my bike and bag and started riding to the vista transit centre because i was in a rush it took me about 10 minutes less then usuall but i was pushing it because i couldnt be late. luckily i made it their right before the last possible bus to get me close enough to make it on time so i racked up my bike showed the driver my pass and sat down for a 15 minute rest before the last and hardest part of the ride. so i got off put my friends headphones on as i blasted the music in my ears and proceeded to ride up a long slopeing hill then once to the top of that hill the way steeper shorter hill was the last major challenge which i slowly made my way up and then saw my school which was down a gentle slope and just parked my bike outside the teachers window and made it 5 minutes before my meeting time and i was dead tierd and hungry and then finished up everything i needed to do around 2:50 and proceeded to do a bunch of other stuff before i got home even more hungry and tierd around 6:20 then sat around and ate a bunch of snacks and relaxed and played games until i fell asleep and im still kinda sore today and im taking my test for my next karate belt.

a poem by wierd ol me

people so serious
it makes me delirious
the thing that makes life fun
is meant for everyone
but that thing is chocked by insanity
in a world where materials mean all
it will be mankind's fall
